We use a cold process technique to create our soaps - the main ingredients are distilled water & lye; mixed with food grade vegetable oils. Depending on the type of bar, other ingredients might contain different mixes of oils such as avocado, almond, castor, coconut, jojoba, olive, palm, rice bran and or Shea butter. The bars are scented with either essential or fragrance oils.
Here are some of our favorites:
Chocolate Mint
Don't overlook me due to my color. Naturally colored with cocoa, simply scented with spearmint and with a generous amount of cream added for good measure. This soap will be your new favorite. Deliciously decadent - you will have to resist the urge to nibble on it in the shower. Creamy lather, gentle cleaning (and smells yummy) - what more can you ask of a soap?
Gardeners Soul
Good for the soul - great for the skin. Loaded with lots of good stuff - cream, egg yolks, cornmeal, beeswax and the finest oils. This bar is a dream - cleans gently while it ex-foliates.
Do not use this bar if you are hypersensitive to eggs or beeswax.
Lemon grass Herb
Pure vegetable soap with the slight scent of lemon grass essential oils.
Patchouli
Patchouli - you either love it or hate it. Hearken back to the days of peace, love and understanding. Fill your soul with calm. This soap has a nice lather and a smooth finish - leaving a subtle patchouli scent behind.
Tumbleweeds Shampoo Bar
Shampoo bar - why a shampoo bar? Gentle enough to use every day as a soap or a shampoo. This bar is very moisturizing with lots of conditioning qualities - without the commercial additives normally found in shampoo. Great to take camping or traveling - no need to pack separate soap, shampoo & conditioner. A solid bar can easily be brought in your carry-on for flying.
Old Salty Dog
Our own doggie shampoo bar - a gentle cleaner for the family pooch. Scented with lavender, rosemary & citronella to keep the bugs away. Also works great as a bath soap for people - we use this bar when we go camping. This soap lathers nice and rinses fast. It is a good soap for a dog who does not like bath time...
Cream & Honey
Mom's favorite. What more can we say? A delightful combination of moisturizing cream and antibacterial honey creates silky lather. Unscented. Great complexion soap or for anyone with sensitive skin!
Castile
Basic lye soap at its finest - loaded with quality Olive Oil. Unscented. Gentle enough for babies. We are told it also makes a good shaving bar.
Eastern Trade Winds
Asian inspired. Lemon grass, ginger & cardamom scented, with colloidal qualities of rice and tapioca flour. Gently ex-foliates and smells great.
Lavender Lea
Our basic bath bar, with ground lavender buds added and softly scented with the essence of Lavender. If you love lavender, you will love this bar.
Cinnamon & Sage
A wonderful scent combination. Smells great, nice bar colored with cinnamon and flecks of sage.
White Chocolate Almond
Yummy is the one word which describes this bar. A vegetable based bar with lots of jojoba oil, cocoa butter and a wonderful almond scent. Almost too good to be true...
Eucalyptus - Mint
Another wonderful scent combination. The base is our own skin car bar. Nice scent, nice soap & nice lather.
Tea Tree
do you like Tea Tree? If so, this soap is for you - a nice soap with a fine lather - naturally strongly scented soap with antiseptic properties.
Spikenard
A strong earthy scented soap with anti-fungal properties. Lathers nicely. This soap has its share of followers.
Anise
The scent of black licorice in a bar soap - too good to be true.
Cedar Woods
A real manly scented bar - but really a soap for everyone. A scent as fresh as the outdoors.
Botanical Garden
A soft floral scented soap, light green in color. Contains fragrance oil.
Orange-Clove
A customer favorite - scented with sweet orange essential oils; light orange color with flecks of clove. This soap started out as a Christmas seasonal, but is so popular we now make it year round.
Sweetheart
A rose scented bar, beautiful pale pink in color. Our skin care bar, scented with a fragrance oil.
Pear
A soft pear scent - perfect for those who prefer a lighter scent. A natural colored bar with flecks of cinnamon and nutmeg, with a light fragrance oil.
Oatmeal
A nice basic bar with oatmeal. Unscented and uncolored - good for people who are hyper sensitive to scents and colorants, plus has the added benefit of oatmeal.
Skin Car Bar
Our own formulation - a wonderful bar and as its name suggests, good for all skin types. Unscented and uncolored - full of good oils such as almond, avocado, flax seed, jojoba as well as Shea butter. Good Stuff!
Goats Milk
Another nice basic bar - made with goats milk. Unscented and uncolored - good for people who are hyper sensitive to scents and colorants.
Handy Man
Our tribute to Red Green - "If women don't find you handsome, they should find you handy."
Pine Tar
Not for the faint of heart - a dark black bar. Actually, the soap is a nice bar with a subtly smoking scent. Wonderful bar for anyone with skin conditions and has a tried and true following.
Seasonal Scents:
Santa's Treat - a milk based soap scented with vanilla sugar cookie fragrance oil (heavenly).
Pear Tree - A natural colored bar with flecks of cinnamon and nutmeg, with a light fragrance oil.
Christmas Spice - The name says it all - the scent of the holidays rolled up into a bar of soap.
